Almandine Garnet info

Almandine is the most common of the garnets and is usually the garnet found in garnet schists. Precious transparent crystals are considered gemstone minerals and are frequently cut to be used as gemstones. Almandine and other garnets form crystals with 12 or 24 faces, appear somewhat rounded, and are some of the most common gemstone minerals. See the Almandine Garnet specimens we have for sale.
